SEAQualifier's Honor Of Kings Invitational Masters Event Will Be Enlivened By 6 Teams From Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Qualifier Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 (SEA) which will start on May 24 will be enlivened by six Indonesian esport teams who are ready to compete.

The six teams are Dominator Esports, Back to Retro, Alter Ego, Kagetandra, Totaleports, and Alliancevoin. They will compete with the best teams in Southeast Asia including from Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Cambodia in the qualifying round.

Quoted from the official statement, Saturday, the teams will meet and compete for five places in the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2.

A total of five teams that have succeeded will have the opportunity to compete against the world's best teams to get a share of a total prize of 300,000 US dollars (equivalent to Rp4.78 billion) and qualify directly for the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason worth 3 million US dollars (equivalent to Rp47.8 billion) at the Esports World Cup this summer.

The SEA Qualifier's Invitational Season 2 follows a series of interesting announcements featuring continued Level Infinite investments in developing the Honor of Kings esport ecosystem.

Earlier this year, Level Infinite announced an investment of 15 million US dollars (equivalent to Rp239.2 billion) to increase the competitive presence of Honor of Kings globally, starting with the Honor of Kings Global Invitational Series.

Since then, Level Infinite has partnered with the Esports World Cup to feature Honor of Kings, as well as hold an Honor of Kings Invitational Season One event in Istanbul, Turkey in March.

Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 SEA Qualifier is the latest opportunity for Level Infinite to increase global competitive skenas for Honor of Kings, bringing a series of new teams into Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2, said Head of Honor of Kings Southeast Asia Publishing and Esports, Level Infinite Gaga Li, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 18. The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2 SEA Qualifier will take place from May 24-26 and the team will be divided into four groups. The regions of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines will compete in their own regional groups, while Myanmar and Cambodia will compete in a joint group.

Winners of each group will get a place at the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 2, while teams in second and third place will qualify for the last chance Qualifier Finals in June.

All matches in qualifying will use best-of-three format, while Finals use best-of-five format.
