BANDA ACEH - Aceh's National Provincial Narcotics Agency (BNNP) conducted a thorough inspection or examination of culinary businesses to prevent the use of marijuana in food spices.

Head of the Aceh Province BNN Marzuki Ali Basyah said that currently there is a stigma that there is food containing marijuana to increase the taste. In fact, the use of marijuana is an illegal act.

"The inspection or examination of the food will be carried out immediately. When and where it is kept secret because this examination is sudden," said Marzuki as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 17.

According to him, the examination of culinary products containing marijuana is to eliminate negative stigma that in some types of food traded in Aceh, additional spices are obtained from these prohibited plants.

The labeling of Acehnese foods containing marijuana is an issue that has long spread to the public. In fact, the use of marijuana in food that is traded is detrimental to other people, people who have never been in touch with narcotics

"Like a case experienced by a person who is known to be good and religious. That person, don't smoke marijuana, don't smoke, don't smoke. He was caught in a narcotics raid and tested positive for marijuana," said Marzuki Ali Basyah.

The person, said Marzuki Ali, was detained for several days at the BNN Office. However, after further examination of narcotics content in his body was not due to addiction, the person was released.

"From the results of the examination, the person previously had a meal at the restaurant with a typical Aceh culinary, but he did not remember where. So, in this case who was harmed, business actors or consumers," he said.

Likewise, Aceh as the host of PON, he said, for example there are athletes eating the Aceh culinary delights. However, the athlete did not know that the culinary seasoning was added to it. When competing or competing, he won and won a medal.

However, after the doping test was carried out, marijuana was found in his body. Finally, what was achieved was in vain just because he enjoyed the Aceh culinary delights which turned out to contain marijuana.

"This is our goal to examine the culinary content of Aceh in order to prevent the use of marijuana. During the inspection later, we will cooperate with BPOM, the ulama assembly, the religious ministry, and other related parties," said Marzuki.
