Shin Tae-yong Calls 22 Players To The Indonesian National Team For 2026 World Cup Qualification
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach, Shin Tae-yong released the names of the players who were called for the 2026 World Cup Qualification in June 2024. There are 22 names that the South Korean coach believes.
In June 2024, the Indonesian national team is scheduled to host Iraq on June 6, 2024, and the Philippines on June 11, 2024, in the second round of the 2026 Asian Zone Qualification. The match will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta.
Of the 22 players called, there are 13 names who are abroad players or who have careers abroad. However, the surprising thing is that there is no English player named, Elkan Baggott.
In addition, other names that have been subscribed to the Indonesian national team, namely Witan Sulaeman and Marc Klok, are also not on the list. Regarding the absence of Witan, Marck Klok, and Elkan on the list, the exact reason is still unknown.
