Call The Former Corporate Of PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana, The KPK Investigates The Licensing Of PLTU 2 Cirebon

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to explore the licensing process for the PLTU 2 Project in Cirebon Regency by PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana. Investigators conducted this in-depth examination when examining the former Corporate Affairs Director of PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana Teguh Haryono on Tuesday, March 9.

He was summoned as a witness in the alleged bribery case for permits and property in Cirebon Regency for the suspect General Manager of Hyundai Engineering Construction Herry Jung.

"The knowledge concerned includes the licensing process for the PLTU 2 project in Cirebon Regency by PT CEPR," said PLT spokesman for the Corruption Eradication Committee, Ali Fikri, in a written statement, Wednesday, March 10.

Apart from that, investigators also questioned Teguh regarding the flow of bribes to the former Cirebon Regent, Sunjaya Purwadi Sastra.

It is known, the KPK suspects that the suspect Herry Jung gave a bribe of Rp. 6.04 billion to the 2014-2019 Cirebon Regent Sunjaya in connection with the permit of PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana PLTU 2 in Cirebon Regency from the initial promise of Rp. 10 billion.

The money was given by making a fictitious Work Order (SPK) with PT. MIM (Milades Indah Mandiri) so it seems that there is a PLTU 2 job consulting service with a contract of IDR 10 billion.

Meanwhile, Sutikno, who is now a defendant, is suspected of paying a bribe of Rp. 4 billion to Sunjaya as Regent of Cirebon for 2014-2019 related to the permit of PT King Properti. The money was allegedly given by being deposited in cash through Sunjaya's aide on December 21, 2018.

Sutikno allegedly brought cash from Karawang to be deposited in Cirebon.

As for this case, this is the development of a case on hand-catching operations (OTT) against the former Regent of Cirebon, Sunjaya.
