Secretary General Of The DPR Responds To The KPK's Call Regarding Allegations Of Corruption In The Procurement Of Equipment For Council Members' Office Houses
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that the Secretary General of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Indra Iskandar, was undergoing an investigation regarding allegations of corruption in the procurement of official house equipment for council members today, Wednesday, May 15. He is a witness.
"The person concerned is present and is currently being investigated by the investigative team," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, May 15.
Indra underwent an examination at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. He was present at around 09.51 WIB.
As previously reported, the KPK revealed that it was investigating allegations of corruption at the Secretariat General of the DPR regarding the procurement of furniture or furniture at the official residence of lawmakers. It is suspected that the filling of the living room to the bedroom was rigged.
A total of seven people have been prevented from leaving the country in this case. From the information gathered, they are the Secretary General of the DPR Indra Iskandar; Head of the Rumjab Management Section of the DPR RI Hiphi Hidati; President Director of PT Daya Indah Dynamics, Tanti Nugroho; and Director of PT Dwitunggal Bangun Persada, Juanda Hasurungan Sidabutar.

Then it was also prevented by the Director of Operations of PT Avantgarde Production, Kibun Roni; Project Manager of PT Integra Indocabinet, Andrias Catur Prasetya; and Edwin Budiman who are private.
The modes that occur in this case are violations of several provisions related to the procurement of goods and services and budget inflations or mark-ups. The official residence whose filling is corrupted is thought to be located in Kalibata and Ulujami, South Jakarta.
