"On this occasion, I declare that we will carry out this airport with KPBU, we are looking for local partners and international partners so that creative financing can be carried out at Komodo Airport," he said at the National Working Meeting for the Acceleration and Pre-Evaluation of PSN in Jakarta, Tuesday, May 14.

Budi assessed that Komodo Airport has good potential to be developed. This is because the airport is the entry point for domestic and international tourists to the Komodo National Park tourist area which is already famous in the global arena.
Budi also said that Komodo Airport had previously been used as the main entrance or gate for delegates at last year's ASEAN Summit.
"The airport is small but good. We believe that Labuan Bajo is the next of Bali," he explained.
