Korean Actor Moon Ji Yoon Dies
JAKARTA - In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic or a new type of corona virus in South Korea, sad news has returned to his entertainment universe. Moon Ji Yoon, the actor and model from Ginseng Country, died on Wednesday, March 18 due to suffering from acute sepsis.
This information was announced by his agency, Family Entertainment. Reporting from Soompi, Thursday, Moon Ji Yoon went to the hospital because he had a sore throat. But his body condition was much worse and he was transferred to the intensive care unit. Then Moon Ji Yoon lost consciousness and couldn't recover. Reportedly, Ji Yoon died at 8.56 p.m. South Korean time at the age of 36.
The agency announced immediately that there would be no further speculation about Moon Ji Yoon. One of his friends also revealed, "I worked with Moon Ji Yoon for a long time and he is a person who has passion and thoughts about acting. It hurts to see him leave so suddenly".
Moon Ji Yoon filled many supporting roles in Korean dramas and films. Some people may be familiar with his appearance as the fierce senior brother of Kim Sang Cheol in the drama Cheese In The Trap in 2016. The actor who was born on February 18, 1984 is believed to play the same character for his 2018 film adaptation.
