Police Reveal Online Prostitution In Tangerang, Entertainer Women Only Get IDR 50,000

JAKARTA - The police have arrested 12 teenage girls for being involved in online prostitution. They were secured at the Aeropolis Residence 2 apartment, Neglasari, Tangerang.

Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota Kombes Deonijiu De Fatima said, of the dozens of women who were arrested, only one was named a suspect.

"The suspect is named Erika Mustika Tarigan," Deonijiu told reporters, Tuesday, March 9.

This suspect, said Deonijiu, was a pimp. He peddled these teenagers to the masher man.

The suspect offered sex services through social media. Hundreds of thousands of tariffs are set for one intercourse.

"The perpetrator did the term open BO (booking out), through Michat's social media. The rate for one date or guest is Rp. 500 to Rp. 700 thousand," said Deonijiu.

Based on the results of the investigation of the suspects who were arrested on March 6, the girls came from Purwakarta and Bekasi. Each time they serve a customer, the women are paid Rp.50 thousand.

"The perpetrator leased four-bedroom apartments to women who had open BOs for one month at a rate of Rp. 2.5 million," he said, adding that the suspect was charged under Article 296 of the Criminal Code.
