Jampidum Fadil Zumhana Dies
JAKARTA - Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes Fadil Zumhana passed away. Before he died, the deceased underwent treatment at the hospital for two months due to illness.
The sad news was confirmed by the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumendana.
"That's right (died). It's been two months since the deceased was treated at the RSCM," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 11.
Regarding the illness suffered, Ketut said that his party had not received any information from the family.
Currently, he said, the body is already at the funeral home on Cenderawasih 2 Street No. 1A Cipete-South Gandaria, South Jakarta. The plan is to be buried at the Poncol-Bekasi TPU today.
"It will be buried today at the Poncol-Bekasi cemetery," said Ketut.
Ketut said the Attorney General's Office mourned the death of the best member of the Adhyaksa Corps.
"We are all sorry and the loss of Adhyaksa's best son left us," said Ketut.
The sad news was first shared on the official Instagram account belonging to the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office this afternoon.
"Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji'un has passed away Mr. Dr Fadil Zumhana (Young Attorney General for General Crimes)," wrote the account of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office.
On the account, on behalf of the Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin and his staff expressed their condolences for the death of the best son of the Adhyaksa Corps.
"May Allah SWT give forgiveness and put him in the best place by Allah, and the family left behind will be given strength," wrote the account.

The late Jampidum Fadil Zumhana is known among Adhyaksa people as a firm figure.
He is also the one who handled the premeditated murder case against Brigadier Josua with the suspect Inspector General of Police. Ferdy Sambo.
Prior to serving as Jampidum, Fadil Zumhana served as Head of the West Nusa Tenggara (2015) High Prosecutor's Office.
The late General during his tenure as Jampidum in the final 2023 record, has completed 4,443 cases through the Restorative Justice mechanism or preventative justice.
With details, in 2020 192 cases were approved, 44 cases were rejected; in 2021 388 cases were approved by san 34 were rejected; in 2022 1,456 cases were approved and 65 rejected; and in 2023 2,407 cases were approved and 38 rejected.
Not only that, but 4,784 Restorative Justice Houses and 111 Rehabilitation Centers have also been formed.
"The deceased is a very firm figure," said one of the Attorney General's employees.
