The WWF Bali Delegation Begins To Arrive In Indonesia On May 15

JAKARTA - Director of Immigration Traffic Felicia Sengky Ratna said the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) delegation began arriving in Indonesia on May 15, 2024 or three days before the start of the World Water Forum.

"For the arrival of the delegation, it is estimated that starting on D-3, namely May 15, 2024, it has started arriving," said Sengky, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 11.

He emphasized that the Directorate General (Ditjen) of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights is ready to welcome the delegates. Immigration has prepared a special counter at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport for the ease of immigration services.

"For delegates at the level of head of state or VVIP, the clearance process will be carried out in the VVIP building area, while the ministerial or VIP level is carried out in the VIP building," explained Sengky.

The 10th World Water Forum will be held in Bali on 18'25 May 2024. This year, the World Water Forum carries the theme "Water for Shared Prosperity" or "Air for Joint Welfare".

The Directorate General of Immigration includes being in charge of registration, website, and information systems in its implementation, as stated in Presidential Decree Number 13 of 2024.

Immigration Ngurah Rai stated that he had made thorough preparations to welcome the arrival of the World Water Forum delegation.

Local immigration has prepared special arrangements in the form of providing mobile equipment to facilitate immigration inspection services for delegates at the level of the head of state or minister present.

"We have mapped and placed the officers," said Ngurah Rai Chief of Immigration Suhendra in Denpasar, Bali, Saturday (4/5).

Immigration Ngurah Rai has also separated the arrival path of delegates and regular passengers in the immigration area. There are three special counters prepared for the World Water Forum delegates served by 12 officers.

"For regular passengers, we have prepared 30 units of autogate and 10 counters of inspection with 40 officers," he added.
