Jasa Marga Records 478,761 Vehicles Leaving Jabotabek During The Holiday Of The Increase In Jesus Christ
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) noted, 478,761 vehicles left the Jabotabek area during the long holiday momentum for the increase of Jesus Christ.
Marketing & Communication Department Head / Pgs Corporate Communication & Community Development Group Head JSMR Faiza Raini explained, during the period 8-10 May 2024 the volume of traffic leaving Jabodetabek rose 9.13 percent.
"The total volume of traffic leaving the Jabotabek area increased by 9.13 percent compared to normal traffic," said Faiza in a written statement, Saturday, May 11.
The figures are the cumulative traffic flow from the four Main Toll Gates (GT), namely Cikupa GT (to Merak), Ciawi GT (to Puncak) and Cikampek Utama GT (to Trans Java) and Kalihurip Utama GT (to Bandung).
The distribution of traffic leaving Jabotabek heading in three directions, namely with a majority of 220,664 vehicles or around 46.09 percent heading East (Trans Java and Bandung).
Next, as many as 138,353 vehicles or 28.90 percent headed for the West (Merak) and 119,744 vehicles or 25.01 percent headed for the South (Puncak).
In detail, there is an increase in the distribution of traffic during the momentum of the holiday of the increase of Jesus Christ.
Traffic leaving Jabotabek heading towards Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, with a total of 102,933 vehicles, an increase of 10.95 percent from normal traffic.
Meanwhile, traffic left Jabotabek heading towards Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama GT Cipularang Toll Road with a total of 117,731 vehicles, an increase of 26.29 percent from normal traffic.
"The total traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Trans Java and Bandung through the two GTs was 220,664 vehicles, an increase of 18.64 percent from normal traffic," he said.
Furthermore, traffic leaving Jabotabek towards Merak via the Cikupa GT Tangerang-Merak Toll Road was 138,353 vehicles, 7.87 percent lower than normal traffic.
The number of vehicles leaving Jabotabek towards Puncak via GT Ciawi Jagorawi Toll Road was 119,744 vehicles, an increase of 16.77 percent from normal traffic.
"Jasa Marga urges road users to anticipate trips before entering the toll road. Ensure that vehicles and drivers are in prime condition, ensure the adequacy of fuel and electronic money balances, use rest areas to rest if you are tired of driving and obey signs and directions from officers," he added.
