AWS Launches Amazon Q, AI Assistant Accelerates Software Development

JAKARTA - Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the launch of Amazon Q, a generative AI-powered assistant designed to accelerate software development and leverage the company's internal data.

By linking to the company's data repository, Amazon Q can also make it easier for employees to get answers to questions about business data such as company policies, product information, business results, code bases, employees, and many other topics.

"With industry leading accuracy, advanced agent capabilities, and the best security in class, Amazon Q helps developers become more productive and business users to accelerate decision making," Swami Sivasubramanian, Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Data at AWS said in a statement received on Friday, May 10.

In fact, Sivasubramanian said Amazon Q could help employees 80 percent be more productive at work, hopefully and with new features to be introduced in the future, this could continue to grow.

Not only that, AWS also introduced Amazon Q Apps, a new and powerful capability that allows employees to build a generating AI app from their company data.

Employees only need to describe the type of app they want, in natural language, and Q Apps will quickly generate apps that want to complete the desired task, helping them simplify and automate their daily work easily and efficiently.
