There Is An Isra 'Mi'raj Holiday, DKI Opens A Recreation Area When The Micro PPKM Is Extended
JAKARTA - The Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan changed one provision in the extension of the Micro PPKM starting today until March 22. Currently, recreational areas are allowed to operate.
In the Decree of the Governor of DKI Number 213 of 2021 concerning Extension of Micro-Based PPKM, activities in public areas where public facilities are allowed to operate.
"Operating at 50 percent capacity, except for activities that can cause crowds (will) be stopped," Anies wrote in his chairman, quoted by VOI on Tuesday, March 9.
In fact, this week, there is an Isra 'Mi'raj (Isra' Mi'raj) holiday which falls on Thursday, March 11th. After that there is also Nyepi Day on Sunday, March 14th.
When asked about concerns about the surge in people going on vacation to recreational spots that are currently permitted, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria said there would be their own provisions. Through health protocol rules, it is believed that Covid-19 cases will not increase.
"It will be limited to 50 percent. A circular letter will be arranged from the (Tourism and Creative Economy) office," said Riza.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan Anies asked the public not to travel out of town during the long holiday in the middle of this month. And, continue to implement health protocols.
"We recommend that we all do not travel outside the city, refrain from visiting crowded places, and as much as possible at home if there are no essential needs. This is important to keep active cases from increasing," said Anies when announcing the extension of the micro PPKM.
