Stealing Money Belonging To A Woman, US Army Gordon Black Diadili In Russia

JAKARTA - US Army Gordon Black, who was detained in Russia's city of Vladivostok until July 2, was charged with theft that had a significant impact, a Russian court said.

Black's detention, which the Pentagon says traveled to Russia without permission, has again caused diplomatic problems for the United States, which has warned US citizens against traveling to Russia.

Pervomaisky District Court Vladivostok said in a statement they had decided on precautions to detain Black until July 2 for "secretly stealing property of citizens,"

Russia's Interior Ministry in Vladivostok said a 32-year-old woman complained about Gordon Black, the 34-year-old suspect.

The two met in South Korea. The US person came to Vladivostok to visit him, but recently the two fought. The victim also reported to the police on charges of stealing money.

Gordon Black was arrested at a local hotel after buying a plane ticket to return home.
