Russia Reminds Macron To Attack French Military If Sent To Ukraine
Russia warned France would attack the French military if President Emmanuel Macron continued to send troops to Ukraine.
Macron caused controversy in February saying it could not rule out the deployment of ground troops in Ukraine in the future.
The French president warned that if Russia wins in Ukraine then the credibility of Europe will be reduced to zero.
"It is a characteristic that Macron himself explains this rhetoric with the desire to create a kind of'strategic uncertainty' for Russia," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told reporters.
"We have to disappoint us the situation seems more than certain," Zakharova said.
If France appeared in the conflict zone, they would definitely be the targets of the Russian armed forces. For me, Paris already has the evidence.
Zakharova said Russia had seen more and more French nationals die in Ukraine.
