Not Only Andika Perkasa, Sri Mulyani Also Enters The DKI Cagub Exchange From PDIP

JAKARTA - The name of the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani is now on the stock exchange for candidates for the Governor of DKI Jakarta who has the potential to be promoted by the PDI-P (PDIP) outside of party cadres.

Previously, PDIP revealed the names of figures who entered the DKI cagub selection, one of which was TNI Commander Andika Perkasa. These names were proposed by PDIP DKI Jakarta cadres.

Meanwhile, PDIP cadres who are also on the stock exchange for DKI 1 candidates in the 2024 Pilkada are Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Menpan RB Azwar Anas, Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono, to Chairman of the DPD PDIP DKI Jakarta Ady Wijaya.

"In the internal, I saw the names that came in. So far there are Mrs. Risma, Mrs. Sri Mulyani, Mr. Andika, and Mr. Ady Wijaya," said Head of the DKI Jakarta PDIP DPD Badiklatda, Gilbart Simanjuntak, Tuesday, May 7.

However, Gilbert said the names would still be observed by party officials, before finally congested into several names.

"The names are just circulating from below. They will enter the screening stage later. After that, the names will be selected again to be sent to the DPP," said the member of the PDIP faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

The plan is for PDIP to strengthen the choice of transportation for Jakarta cagub at the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) IV which will be held on May 24-26.

"Everything will be clear after the National Working Meeting. But, whether published or not, that's another thing," he said.

Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial and deputy governor candidate is opened by the PDI-P (PDIP). Anyone interested in becoming a candidate for regional head can register from Wednesday, May 8 to May 20.

"The PDI-P provides an opportunity for all the best sons and daughters to register themselves as candidates for the regional head of the Special Region of Jakarta," said Chief Executive of Penjaringan Bakal Candidate for PDIP Regional Head Hendra.

The figure sought by PDIP to lead Jakarta is to have a strong leadership based on Pancasila which is the basis and ideology of the state. In addition, this figure must also be able to face new challenges that arise from Law Number 2 of 2024 concerning the Province of the Special Region of Jakarta.

"To prevent these concerns, strong leadership from a regional head who leads the government over the Pancasila pillars is needed as the basis and ideology of the nation," said Hendra.

"As one of the pillars of Indonesian democracy, the PDI-P of DKI Jakarta Province will carry a candidate for regional head who is believed to be able to face the challenges above faithfully and consistently walk and fight on the basis of the Pancasila ideology," he concluded.
