Re-shooting, A Line Of Players From River Where The Moon Rises Is Not Paid

JAKARTA - The Korean drama River Where the Moon Rises made a number of changes including a re-shoot with the new On Dal actor, Na In Woo.

It is known that the previous On Dal actor Ji Soo left drama production after a bullying case dragged his name. Unfortunately, 95 percent of production was completed before Ji Soo's name was dropped.

Because of this, the production team decided to re-shoot and the cast of River Where the Moon Rises reportedly did not ask for payment. The players are Lee Ji Hoon, Wang Bit Na, Choi Yu Hwa, Ki Eun Se, Ryoo Ui Hyung, and Kim Hee Jung.

Launching Soompi on Tuesday, March 9, Lee Ji Hoon's agency TH Company revealed to EDaily, "The production house suffered a loss because of this incident. They have workers and this decision was made in hopes of helping (the production team) a little."

A similar statement was also made by Wang Bit Na's agency, Elrise, to SpoTVNews. "We did not receive any requests from the production house, but he (Wang Bit Na) chose not to receive payment for filming."

The agency explained that Wang Bit Na was close to director Yoon Sang Ho to the point that he had also appeared in Sang Ho's drama project before. "We hope this helps a little."

As for Na In Woo's appearance as On Dal, it has been airing since episode seven which aired on March 8.
