There Are Hospitals That Have Not Reported Death Cases Due To COVID-19
JAKARTA - The government spokesman for Handling COVID-19 in Indonesia, Achmad Yurianto, revealed an interesting fact. There are hospitals that apparently do not report cases of death from this disease to the central government.
The latest death data as of Tuesday (17/3) throughout Indonesia due to COVID-19, as many as 7 people. But this afternoon, Achmad Yurianto explained, the number of deaths has now become 19 people.
The number 19 was obtained after this morning, the Ministry of Health reconfirmed all hospitals treating this case. It was revealed that a number of hospitals did not report any deaths from March 12 to March 17.
"We reported a death case, there was a problem in data collection because after we did a recheck this morning and then coordinated with all hospitals that treat this case, it turns out that several hospitals have not reported any deaths from March 12 to 17," said the man familiarly called Yuri in a press conference broadcast live via YouTube, Wednesday, March 18.

The latest data on positive cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia has now reached 227 cases. At least this figure is the latest data at 12.00 WIB obtained by the government.
The most additional positive patients were in DKI Jakarta with 30 cases. Furthermore, positive patients in West Java added 12 cases, Banten 4 cases, Central Java 2 cases, Yogyakarta 1 case, North Sumatra 1 case, Lampung 1 case, Riau 1 case, and East Kalimantan 1 case.
Yuri said the government had predicted this increase. In the next few days, the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 will continue to grow.
"We hope that after the activities with the community are carried out, it is hoped that in April we will be able to see the results and we hope that this will be under control," said Yuri.
