Perpetrators Of Student Persecution Of STIP To Death Begin To Be Revealed

JAKARTA - A Vocational Science College (STIP) student with the initials P became a victim of persecution to death. The police said the perpetrator had begun to be identified.

"While it is indicated that there are those who we are suspicious of," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra, quoted on Saturday, May 4.

However, the process of examining witnesses and collecting evidence is still being carried out. So, later on, it can strengthen or shrink the figure of the perpetrator of the persecution.

"Later we will make sure when further information is taken," he said.

Apart from this, Wira stated that the Polda Metro Jaya only helped handle the alleged abuse case. However, currently the authority to investigate is still at the North Jakarta Metro Police.

"It will be handled by the North Jakarta Police, we from the Regional Police to back up its implementation," said Wira.

In handling this case, the police have arrested 10 STIP students. They were examined intensively to find out the series of incidents of persecution

Meanwhile, P became a victim of persecution to death on Friday, May 3. The incident was revealed to have started with the victim's parents who reported that their son had died at STIP.
