Get Ready For A Ticket Can Be Accepted Through The WhatsApp Application

JAKARTA - Trials for sending proof of violation or ticketing motorized vehicles through the WhatsApp application are currently being carried out.

This was emphasized by the Director of Law Enforcement of the Traffic Corps of the National Police Brigadier General of Police Raden Slamet Santoso.

"Only in the trial stage," Slamet told reporters in Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 4.

The one-star police general explained that during this trial stage, Korlantas conducted an assessment first so that the new innovation in sending this ticket was not misused.

So far, the ticket is sent to the address where traffic violators live through PT Pos. On the other hand, there is a fraud under the guise of a ticket sent via the WhatsApp application in the Android Package Kit (APK) format which can break into the data of mobile users.

Officially, the results of the trial and assessment of the ticket delivery via the WhatsApp application will be submitted on Monday (6/5).

"On Monday, we will explain it to me first so that there is no abuse," said Slamet.

According to him, if the results of the assessment are declared pass, this innovation will apply nationally, not only at Polda Metro Jaya.

"If we have passed the assessment and are good, then we can nationalize it," he said.

Previously, the Traffic Directorate of the Metro Jaya Regional Police had made an innovation called the Precision Cakra System.

Based on the upload of the official @tmcpoldametro X account, the Cakra Presisi System is the latest system used by the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya to send ticket notifications via SMS, Whatsapp, and electronic mail to violators.

This system makes traffic law enforcement more efficient as direct notifications are sent on the same day during violations, complete with details.

A ticket confirmation letter sent via the Whatsapp application will be accompanied by a photo until the time the driver is caught committing a violation.

Nantinya, pelanggar dapat membuka situs resmi https://etle-korlantas.info/id/ untuk mengecek bukti pelanggaran tersebut.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi in Jakarta, Thursday (2/5), confirmed the sending of evidence of motor vehicle violations (tickets) through the WhatsApp application instead of an Android Package Kit (APK) format so that it is safe to open.

Ary said there were five WA numbers that would send notifications regarding ticketing from the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, namely 082333343250, 085258869001, 085258868990, 082333343249, 0878174000.
