MAB Pamerkan Teknologi Sasis Truck Listrik Di PEVS 2024, Diklaim Dapat Berjalan Hingga 150 Km

JAKARTA - At the 2024 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS), PT Car Anak Bangsa (MAB) brought a number of electric vehicle innovations, one of which was electric truck chassis technology that they developed on their own.

Technical Director of PT MAB Bambang Tri Soepandji, said that the truck chassis has carried out various trials to prove its resilience, so that it can adjust Indonesia's road conditions.

"We adjust this to trucks like those sold by Japanese manufacturers, we adjust all systems to find spare parts without any difficulties," Bambang said in his presentation to the media at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday, May 2.

In addition, it is stated that this electric truck framework can adjust the various needs that its customers want, as garbage trucks to logistics matters.

This can be simulated as a garbage truck with a compactor, so it requires an electric motor that drives a hydraulic with a battery capacity of 162.28 kWh in the hope that it can cover a distance of up to 150 km per charging. This can also transport logistics so that the distance can be 200 km," explained Bambang.

Then, the President Director of PT MAB Kelik Irwantoro added that his party also provides regular sales services to make it easier for customers in terms of maintenance to provide guarantees of up to 8 years for their batteries.

"We provide support in terms of spare parts, this is an important thing when something happens to consumers so that they make it easier and faster to handle it," said Kelik.

The electric truck technology developed by this local company has a battery with a capacity of 162.28 kWh which allows it to run with a cruising range of 150 km in one charge. PT MAB claims that this truck can charge from 0 to 100 percent in 3 hours using the CCS2 charging port.

Meanwhile, the Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) on this truck reaches 8 tons with an electric motorbike with a power of 160 kW and a torque of 2,100 Nm which can run at a maximum speed of up to 80 km/hour.
