US Soon To Build A New Doomsday Aircraft Fleet With A Budget Of IDR 210.4 Trillion

JAKARTA - The United States will soon get a new fleet of 'airplanes of the apocalypse' (Dailymsday) which some observers say is a sign the country is preparing for World War III.

The US Air Force announced a US$13 billion (Rp210.4 trillion) contract to develop an old Boeing replacement aircraft and used to protect the president during the nuclear strike.

The funds are given to Sierra Nevada Corp, which will design a successor to the E-4B 'Nightwatch' equipped with a mobile command post capable of surviving nuclear explosions and electromagnetic effects.

This project, called the Survive Airport Operations Center, is expected to be completed in 2036.

The current war climate has led some to believe that the world is heading towards a nuclear war, as Russia has threatened to put nuclear in space. Moreover, Ukraine's war with the country is still ongoing and there is now a conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine.

The US Air Force has a fleet of four E-4Bs, with at least one on alert at all times, but the Boeing planes are old and many parts have become obsolete.

"SNC is building a future air command center!" said Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), an American aerospace company.

"SAOC is a special aircraft ensuring the survival of orders, controls, and critical communications during a national emergency for POTUS, the Minister of Defense, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff," they said. We are proud to support this important mission.

Boeing was released as the only provider of the apocalypse in December 2023 after US companies and military disagreed with prices for the next generation of fleets.

The details of the SNC design have not been shared, but the aircraft is likely to resemble the current E-4B 'Nightwatch'.

The current apocalypse includes advanced satellite communications systems, nuclear and thermal effect shields, acoustic control, and advanced air conditioning systems to cool electric components.

These planes can also be refueled in the air and keep flying and operating for 35.4 hours in a row. The engine can generate a 52,500 push and this aircraft can carry up to 800,000 pounds.

Each E-4B 'Nightwatch' has a length of 231 feet with a wingspan of 195 feet - and costs 223 million US dollars (Rp 3.6 trillion) for its manufacture.

The Air Force said in a FY2024 budget request that SAOC would provide a 'assisting national military command system (NMCS) worldwide, durable, and long-lasting to meet national security requirements in all stages of conflict,' according to SWNS.

"As a command, control, and communication center that directs US powers, carries out emergency war orders, and coordinates the activities of civilian authorities including a national contingency plan, this capability ensures the continuity of the operation and continuity of the government as needed in a national emergency or after the cancellation/damage of the command center and ground control," the military branch added.

SNC has yet to reveal what air frame they will use for their apocalypse aircraft.

The E-4B is operated by the First Air Command and Control Squadron of the Command and Control Group 595, which is coordinated by the United States Strategic Command and placed nearturbation, Nebraska, at the Offutt Air Force Base.

One of the apocalypse aircraft was delivered on a four-hour training flight in 2022 after Vladimir Putin placed Russia's nuclear power on high alert.

The military flight tracking site shows the modified Boeing 747 aircraft departing from the US Air Force Base in Lincoln, Nebraska and carrying out training flights on other special military aircraft.
