Apple Releases The Latest Generation Of Beats Solo 4 With More Affordable Prices

JAKARTA - Apple has released the latest generation of over-ear Beats Solo 4 headphones that have up to 50 hours of battery life at a price of half the tech giant's AirPods Max.

The new over-ear headphone sells for $200 (Rp3.2 million), compared to Apple's official high-priced product of US$550 (Rp8.9 million).

Beats Solo 4 comes in three color options, namelyID black, blue, and pink, and is compatible with iOS and Android phones. The new Beats Solo 4 headphone can be booked from Tuesday 30 April and will be delivered to the US on Thursday, May 2.

The Solo 4 model offers updated and lightweight comfort levels, weighing less than half a pound. It also offers personalized spatial audio, head tracking, and a Find My Device feature.

Apple also announced the latest affordable earbuds headphones that will launch in June - called Solo Buds.

The Solo product paper that we expanded recently gave extraordinary value, offers extraordinary sound quality, battery life, and comfort in the most portable design," said Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Apple Music, Apple TV+, Sports, and Beats.

The Solo 4 headphone also does not require a wall charger and can be charged directly from your cellphone, tablet, or laptop.

Apple says that Beats Solo 4 has been redesigned for incredible acoustics, using a 40-millimeter transducer that minimizes distortion and offers better clarity and range for listening to music, film, and games. The 'fast fuel' feature provides five hours of battery power with a fast charging of 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, Beats Solo Buds will launch in June for 80 US dollars and comes with a special microphone designed to improve the quality of calls.

The Solo Buds headphone offers up to 18 hours of battery life and five minutes of fast charging will provide an hour of battery power.

The company claims that the packaging of these headphones is also more environmentally friendly, made of 100 percent fiber recycled materials originating from sustainable forest.

Apple previously stated that its goal was to become carbon neutral for its global operations including its manufacturing supply chain and the life cycle of all its products by 2030.
