MPR Leaders Will Meet Prabowo-Gibran To Give Input On The Nation In The Future
JAKARTA - The MPR leadership is setting a time to meet the elected president and vice president for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The MPR leadership will bring a number of inputs related to the nation in the future after meeting with previous Indonesian leaders.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of the MPR Bambang Soesatyo or Bamsoet when asked about the plan to meet with Prabowo and Gibran.
Bamsoet said the MPR leadership would visit the president and vice president elected in the near future. However, he said, his party would first stay in touch with a number of former presidents and vice presidents of the Republic of Indonesia to receive inputs related to state issues.
"Yes, soon we. The results of yesterday's rapidity decided that many of the decisions included that we carried out national relations to meet political figures other than the president and vice president who are still working today, there are also the fifth and sixth presidents, Mrs. Mega and Mr. SBY," said Bamsoet, Thursday, May 2.
"This includes former vice presidents such as Pak Tri Sutrisno, Hamzah Has, Budiono, and so on to get various inputs on the nation's journey ahead," he continued.

After visiting the previous presidents and vice presidents, continued Bamsoet, the new MPR leadership will visit the residence of the elected president and vice president. In order to convey input and direction from national leaders.

The Golkar politician also revealed that the MPR leadership will also stay in touch with the party led by political parties to become input for state institutions.
"Including the leaders of political parties at work. We are sending correspondences to him," said Bamsoet.
"Finally, we will only make a format like a round table meeting with the leaders of state institutions, which were 8 people earlier," he added.
