Condoms Scattered At RTH West Jakarta, DPRD Questions CCTV And Officers' Supervision
JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission D of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ida Mahcepat, questioned the supervision of the DKI Provincial Government in the aftermath of the discovery of contraceptives in the form of condoms scattered in a green open space (RTH) on Jalan Tubagus Angke, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.
Ida questioned the installation of CCTV cameras to the supervision of officers in the field in maintaining green open space security and order.
"Has CCTV been running or not? Then the officers reported it, did these officers really not know the secret to protect the park environment," Ida told reporters, Wednesday, May 1.
Ida views that the DKI Jakarta City Parks and Forests Service (Distamhut) must evaluate the large-scale management of parks in Jakarta. In addition, it is also necessary to coordinate with RW and RT administrators.
"Hopefully we will also get input from the community, which one should we follow up on. I hope the community does not hesitate to provide input to us, which one should be followed up and not," explained Ida.

It is known, there are often findings of condoms scattered every morning on the RTH of Jalan Tubagus Angke. The condom was scattered because it was suspected that the location was used as a place for prostitution by irresponsible people.
West Jakarta Mayor Uus Kuswanto admitted that the green open space on Jalan Tubagus Angke is often a place for illegal prostitution.
This, continued Uus, happened because localization in Kalijodo had been closed.
"Previously in Kalijodo, there were no prostitution places, now maybe there are no people in Kalijodo, people who are just like that now," said Uus, Monday, April 29.
However, Uus emphasized that he had instructed the Distamhut and Satpol PP ranks to guard the location.
