Reluctant To Respond To The Construction Of The Tembus Street Pasar Minggu, Residents Are Confused About Moving Places To Live

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continues its plan to build a road that penetrates the Pasar Minggu rail, East Pejaten Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta.

Development requires land acquisition belonging to residents. However, it turns out that there are still a number of residents who have not approved the land being acquired.

Head of East Pejaten Urban Village, Rocky A. Tarigan said the government had held meetings with residents of RW 06, 07, and 08. From the meeting, there were still three areas that did not agree and six fields had not yet responded.

They have three areas that do not agree that they have various reasons, ranging from price agreements, feeling that their house is a memento, and confused about finding other places to live around Jakarta.

"We from the local government hope that the process will run smoothly because as residents, we really hope and look forward to the process of widening this road," Rocky told reporters, Tuesday, April 30.

However, some residents are claimed to support the construction of the Pasar Minggu parallel road because someone has vacated their house for land acquisition.

Along with that, the Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Government Bureau Complaints Group, Agus Saputra, said that the DKI Provincial Government has also collected data on the initial land that will be acquired for the construction of road access parallel to Pasar Minggu tracks.

Agus revealed that the initial data collection was aimed at ensuring ownership of 121 plots of land based on data claimed to be 161 parties entitled to a road row of 15, 18, 20, and 23 meters and a length of 1,872 meters.

"To facilitate data collection, we involve elements of environmental management, local government, DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Bina Marga Office, and other related elements," he said.

The data, continued Agus, will be included in the temporary list. Then, proceed with inviting parties entitled to public consultation on May 8, 2024 at the Pasar Minggu Sports Hall.

"Hopefully everyone understands the explanation given. So, later they will agree to the location plan and not continue next," he explained.
