Shin Tae-yong Gives Teco Special Conditions Before The U-22 National Team Versus Bali United, What Is It?
JAKARTA - Bali United coach Stefano "Teco" Cugurra admitted that he was under pressure to play his trio of players who were 'loaned' back from the Indonesian national team for at least 45 minutes in a trial match at the Gelora Madya Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Sunday.
This was a condition set by national team coach Shin Tae-Yong when Teco asked to withdraw three of his players, namely Nadeo Argawinata, Irfan Jauhari, and Sidik Saimima for the match which ended in a 3-1 victory for the Garuda squad.
"The national team coach advised to play them," said Teco after the match as reported by Antara, Monday.
Teco agreed. Nadeo, Irfan, and Sidik enter the second half and play until the game is over.

Teco admitted that he deliberately proposed to "loan" players because the squad was deemed insufficient for the trial match.
"We lack players," said Teco.
Another Bali United player, I Kadek Agung Widnyana, still appeared wearing the Indonesian national team uniform in the match when he entered the second half.
Teco also praised Kadek's appearance, who in the previous trial match against Tira Persikabo also scored a goal and hoped to bring his best performance when he returned to Serdadu Tridatu.
"He played well and scored beautiful goals. When he returned to Bali United, he had to work hard and help us in the Menpora Cup 2021," said the Brazilian coach.
