Spanish MotoGP Qualification Results 2024: Marc Marquez Secures Pole

JAKARTA - Marc Marquez succeeded in becoming the fastest in the 2024 Spanish MotoGP Qualification at the Jerez Circuit, Spain, Saturday, April 27, 2024.

This means that the Spaniard will start from pole position in the race held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, WIB night.

This is the first pole position for Marc Marquez and Gresini Ducati in MotoGP 2024.

Previously, Franco Morbidelli was fastest in the first qualifying session with a time of 1 minute 47.887 seconds. Brad Binder was right behind him with a time difference of 0.062 seconds.

Marc Marquez then started the second qualifying session well with a time of 1 minute 48.016 seconds. However, the record was successfully overtaken with 1 minute 47.807 seconds.

In less than three minutes remaining, Marco Bezzecchi suddenly became the fastest with 1 minute 47.044 seconds.

Luckily, in less than two minutes, Marquez returned to first position with 1 minute 46.773 seconds remaining.

In the end, no one was able to overtake the record until the qualifying session ended. Bezzecchi was also displaced to second place followed by Jorge Martin who completed the front row.
