During Three Years, IKN Development Spends IDR 72.1 Trillion State Budget Funds

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the total State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for the development of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) from 2022 to 2024 reached IDR 72.1 trillion.

Sri Mulyani detailed that the budget allocation for IKN development in 2022 is IDR 5.5 trillion, in 2023 it is IDR 27 trillion, and in 2024 the budgeted allocation is IDR 39.6 trillion.

From 2022 to 2024 it is allocated a budget of Rp72.1 trillion. If 2022 is only Rp5.5 trillion, 2023 is Rp27 trillion, this year the budget allocation is close to Rp40 trillion, or Rp39.6 trillion," he said at a press conference on the KiTa State Budget in Jakarta, Friday, April 26.

He added that until the end of March 2023, the government had issued a budget for IKN development to reach IDR 4.3 trillion or 10.9 percent of the total ceiling of IDR 39.6 trillion.

Until April 1 or the end of March it was only IDR 4.3 trillion from IDR 39.6 trillion. This means that it is only 11 percent or 10.9 percent of the ceiling," he said.

In addition, Sri Mulyani detailed that Rp2.3 trillion or 6.4 percent of the total Rp36.5 trillion ceiling had been used for infrastructure development.

According to Sri Mulyani, the progress of the development that has been running has resulted in a progress of physical realization of 13.5 percent.

As for the infrastructure cluster, it is used for building construction in the State Palace Area, the Coordinating Ministry and other Ministries, as well as the IKN Authority Building (OIKN).

In addition, the realization of the state budget is also used for the construction of the State Civil Apparatus Flats (ASN) and Defense and Security (Hankam), the Minister's Tapak House and other crucial projects, including flood control infrastructure.

Furthermore, for the construction of IKN toll roads, bridges, hospitals, and VVIP airports, to improvement of the area for water facilities for the Sepaku Semoi Dam, reservoirs, and IKN flood control areas.

Furthermore, Sri Mulyani conveyed that the use of the budget for non-infrastructure clusters was IDR 2 trillion or 65.5 percent of the total ceiling of IDR 3.1 trillion.

The construction of IKN non-infrastructure clusters includes planning, coordination, preparation of transfers, promotions, and socialization of IKN.

Then reports and policy recommendations on ministries/agencies (K/L), mapping activities, evaluation monitoring, and OIKN operations.
