15 Sites In Natuna Designated As Geological Heritage
JAKARTA - Around 15 sites located in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands are designated as Geological Heritage (Geoheritage).
Head of the Tourism Office (Dispar) of Natuna Hardinansyah Regency said the determination was made on March 31, 2023 in Jakarta in the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Number 61.K/GL.01/MEM.G/2023 concerning the determination of the Geological Heritage (Geoheritage) of Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. "As many as 15 sites have been designated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources as Geological heritage," he said, quoting Antara. The 15 sites are:1. Sandstone Tanjung Datuk Penadah Formation, in Teluk Buton Village, North Bunguran District, 2. Batuan Rangam Tanjung Ba'dai Village in Kelaruk Village, North Bunguran District,3. Air Malidotit in Kelarik Air Mali Village, North Bunguran District, 4. Bukit Kapur Conglomerate, in Sebadai Hulu Village, and Bunguran Timur Timur District,5. Bunguran Formation Stone in Senua Island in Sepempang Village, East Bunguran District,

"This basis is one of our requirements to go to Unesco Global Geopark," he said.
