Carrying The Narrative Of Change, PAN The Value Of PKB Is Difficult To Join The Prabowo-Gibran Coalition

JAKARTA - The National Mandate Party (PAN) assesses that the National Awakening Party (PKB) will find it difficult to join the Prabowo-Gibran government. Because PKB carries a narrative of the contrary changes to the narrative of sustainability of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) government program. "Simally, Prabowo carries the theme of continuing Jokowi's programs. Meanwhile, PKB and its coalition want to make changes. (Because) They consider Jokowi to fail in building people's welfare," said the Chairman of the DPP PAN, Saleh Partaonan Daulay to reporters, Thursday, April 25. "It seems that PKB will have difficulty turning around and turning around," he continued. Therefore, according to Saleh, Prabowo Subianto's elected President meeting with Ketum PKB Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) yesterday could not be interpreted immediately if PKB must join the Prabowo-Gibran government. "The Prabowo visit should not be immediately interpreted that PKB is sure to join," he said. Nevertheless, he appreciated Prabowo's attitude which immediately stayed in touch with Cak Imin after being appointed as the president elected by the KPU. According to him, as the winner Prabowo still showed Hadi's low attitude. "Even though he won, Prabowo and all supporters were asked not to be proud," said Saleh.

Previously, PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin submitted eight agenda changes to his party to President-elect Prabowo Subianto at the PKB DPP office, Cikini, Central Jakarta. Cak Imin hopes that the eight agenda changes can be input to Prabowo-Gibran's government in the future. Where Prabowo will be appointed as the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia in October. "PKB also conveyed to Pak Prabowo as the elected President, 8 agendas of PKB changes in which 8 PKB agendas were submitted to 08 to become the subject of struggle as well as a special agenda for Pak Prabowo's government in the future," said Cak during a press conference at the PKB DPP Office, Cikini, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24. In front of Prabowo, Cak Imin then stated that PKB would like to continue to cooperate with the Gerindra Party. Both to continue political cooperation both in Parliament and in government. "PKB and Gerindra as parties that have been working together in parliament and in executives, want to continue to work together more productively. Moreover, Mr. Prabowo as President elected will face various development agendas that are so challenging in the future," said Cak Imin.

According to the Deputy Speaker of the DPR, the success of development is the success that all people hope for. "And PKB wants the people to smile happily in the future because of progress and prosperity," he said. "Therefore, we hope that PKB and Gerindra will continue to collaborate in various fields of legislation and in various efforts to realize their success towards a just and prosperous society," continued Cak Imin.
