Prabowo: United Building A Nation Doesn't Have To Be A Coalition Or Opposition

JAKARTA - The elected President for the 2024-2029 period, Prabowo Subianto, said that to unite to build the nation in the future, there is no need to wait to become a coalition or opposition to the ruling government.

According to Prabowo, uniting in building the nation can be carried out by political parties inside or outside the government.

"This is the demands of our people to unite, we must unite, unite, it is in the government or outside the government. We are jointly fighting for the people of Indonesia," Prabowo said in his remarks after being appointed by the KPU as the elected president at the KPU office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday 24 April.

He invited all to fight to bring goodness and improvement as quickly as possible for the people.

"No one of our people should be left behind, our children are left behind and do not enjoy the results of independence," said Prabowo.

On that occasion, Prabowo also invited the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair, as well as the supporting party to unite to build the nation. According to Prabowo, the election has been over, so that when collaborating, Indonesia will progress.

"So I want to say that the match is over. A very important match, a very important contest, because this is what the people ask. The people need choice. However, after this, the people demand that all elements of the leadership must work together, must collaborate to bring goodness, to bring prosperity, and to bring prosperity," concluded Prabowo.
