In The Hands Of Conte Inter Enter The Book Of Records

JAKARTA - Inter have had an outstanding start in Serie A this season, their best opening form since 1950-51 and the club's latest record for an away win.

Antonio Conte has transformed the Nerazzurri this season, and last night's 3-0 win over Torino, Saturday, November 23, keeps them one point behind leaders Juventus.

With 11 wins in the first 13 games, this is Inter's best start to the Serie A season, matching the success achieved in 1950-51.

Romelu Lukaku has 10 league goals in 13 games, and the only Inter striker to reach that as a Serie A debutant was Stefano Nyers in 1948-49.

The result at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino did set a new all-time club record, as Inter had not previously won their first seven away games in Serie A in one season.

This saw them match the tally set by Lazio at the start of the 2002-03 season.

At the moment, Inter are just one win away from Milan in 1992-92 and Juventus in 2018-19 who have won eight in a row.

If Conte is able to make Inter consistent, it is not impossible for them to equal or even straddle the two biggest rivals in Serie A.
