Bappenas Ensures Prabowo-Gibran Program Enters RKP 2025

JAKARTA - The Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/Bappenas has ensured that the new government program has been included in the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2025.

For information, the General Elections Commission (KPU) has appointed Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President Elected 2024-2029 on Wednesday, April 24.

Deputy for Economic Affairs of the Ministry of National Development Planning (PPN)/Bappenas Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti said that new government programs have been officially included in the Government Work Plan (RKP) 2025.

"Yes, we have started to make adjustments," he said at the Ministry of Finance Office, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24.

One of those included was the establishment of the State Revenue Agency (BPN) in the 2025 RKP called the State Revenue Authority which aims to raise Indonesia's tax ratio on gross domestic product (GDP).

However, Amalia has not been able to speak further about the formation of the agency, because the current 2025 RKP is still only an initial design and only macroeconomic targets.

According to Amalia, in 2025 is the first gateway for Indonesia to reach Indonesia's gold 2045.

"So, the important thing is that there are development targets that in RKP 2025 Indonesia must grow faster in 2025 because 2025 is the first gateway for Indonesia to Indonesia gold, so the target for economic growth is 2025 at the set of 5.3 percent-5.6 percent," he explained.

Amalia conveyed, for all stakeholders, Ministries/Institutions (K/L) and the government to participate in overseeing Indonesia's economic growth target in 2025 so that it can be realized towards Golden Indonesia.

"That must be guarded together, of course, not only the role of the government but the role of all stakeholders to guard it," he said.

Therefore, Amalia said that the government must be able to strengthen the domestic economy amidst geopolitical pressures and global uncertainty.
