Assisted By Lebaran, Honda Car Sales In March Increased By 19 Percent
JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) again recorded impressive results by obtaining sales of 10,706 units in March 2024, an increase of 19 percent compared to the previous month.
Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT HPM Yusak Billy, said that this achievement was assisted by public demand during the Eid homecoming period, amid many challenges in industry such as inconsistencies in global and national economic political conditions.
"We continue to monitor the current condition of the automotive market which is still unstable because it is influenced by global and national economic political conditions to be able to adapt strategies and present products that are in accordance with consumer needs," Billy said in a statement received by the media, Tuesday, April 23.

Overall, the Brio model still peaks most Honda car sales in the Indonesian market by posting 4,495 units. This was followed by a number of SUV models recording an increase of 27.9 percent compared to last February or 5,531 retail sales units.
Honda HR-V peaked sales of the most SUVs in Indonesia with 1,862 units, followed by BR-V with 1,594 units, then WR-V with 1,524 units, and All New CR-V managed to sell 551 units during this period.
Then, other models also contributed such as City Hatchback RS which sold 283 units, All New Civic RS with 170 units, Mobilio with 146 units, Accord with 62 units, City with 15 units, and Civic Type R with a total of 4 units.
In February, the company recorded sales of 9,019 units or decreased compared to January amounting to 10,019 units.
