Tulungagung Health Office Checks Employees Related To Ambulance Abuse That Hurts You
TULUGUNG - The Health Office of Tulungagung Regency, East Java examined a number of its employees who were involved and responsible for the incident of misuse of ambulances belonging to the Kedungwaru Health Center, resulting in a single accident on Jalan Pahlawan, Tulungagung, Thursday (18/4).
"We have summoned and examined the Head of the Kedungwaru Health Center regarding the accident of an ambulance belonging to the Kedungwaru Health Center on Friday (19/4)," said Head of the General Subdivision and Personnel of the Tulungagung District Health Office, Fuad Ratsongko, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 22.
Several other employees involved in the accident have also been questioned.
However, the ambulance driver who is known to be a midwife, and not the original driver of the vehicle to pick up the patient and to transport the body, until now cannot be questioned because he is still in intensive care at the ICU at dr. Iskak Tulungagung.
"The person concerned cannot be examined, is still being treated in ICU 2," he said.
After the incident, his party further confirmed the use of ambulances.
Ambulances can only be used to transport patients and driven by drivers who have been specially trained.

An ambulance belonging to the Tulungagung District Health Office had an accident on Jalan Pahlawan Tulungagung, Thursday (18/4) afternoon at around 11.15 WIB.
The ambulance had hit a boy and overturned, before finally stopping after hitting an internet service provider pole.

Residents at that time spontaneously tried to return the ambulance to its original position.
However, they were then shocked because after the red plate vehicle belonging to the health office contained a number of hijab mothers who wanted to attend the halal bihalal event.
"So the confessions of several parties that we examined, the use of ambulances (for halal-bihalal transportation) was without the knowledge of the head of the puskesmas," he said.
