Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno: 54 Percent Of Manpower In The Tourism And Creative Economy Sector Are Great Women

JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said as many as 54 percent of the workers in the parekraf sector were women.

This was revealed by Sandiaga on the agenda of The Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno which was monitored online in Jakarta, Monday, April 22.

"We have just celebrated Kartini Day and 54 percent of the workers in the parekraf sector are great women, extraordinary women," said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga did not deny that many female workers were leaders in his ministry.

"And the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy with the majority of leaders in high echelons led by great women, extraordinary women," he said.

On this occasion, he also expressed his gratitude to all parties, especially for women who have dedicated their lives for the progress of the tourism sector throughout the country.

"The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will always support and provide space for women to contribute, collaborate and create better lives and progress in the parekraf sector," he added.
