BRI Records Improved ATM Cash Deposits Reach 24.5 Percent During The Eid Holiday Period

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia held through BRI The Integrated Alert Movement (BRIGesit) of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr (RAFI) 2024 noted that ATM cash deposit services increased 24.5 percent year on year from the previous Rp11.9 trillion in 2023 to Rp14.9 trillion in 2024.

BRI's Retail Funding & Distribution Director Andrijanto said that although cash deposit transactions at ATMs had increased, cash withdrawals on ATM machines decreased 10 percent yoy to Rp33 trillion from the previous Rp36.6 trillion in 2023.

"This is as BRI has projected, namely financial transaction activities will increase along with the Eid al-Fitr holiday," he said in a statement to the media, Monday, April 22.

Andrijanto added that BRI has also anticipated through optimizing the channels used by the public for banking transactions. Meanwhile, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, the company has also prepared cash of Rp. 34 trillion.

In this program, there are five main service aspects prepared starting from cash availability, limited service office readiness, e-Channel support, Digital Channel, IT & Network System, and Campaign Program. This number of aspects shows the expansion of the scope of the BRIGesit program in previous years.

The decline in cash withdrawal transactions at BRI ATMs cannot be separated from BRImo's penetration which continues to be carried out intensively by the company.
