AHY Hopes All Parties Return To Unity After The Constitutional Court's Decision
JAKARTA - Minister of ATR/BPN as well as Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), hopes that all parties will reunite after the Indonesian Constitutional Court (MK) judges read out the decision on the 2024 presidential election dispute case on Monday, April 22.
Currently, the Constitutional Court is holding a verdict hearing regarding the dispute over the results of the general election (PHPU) for the presidential election starting at 09.00 WIB.
"I just hope that after this we as a nation will reunite in the spirit of seeing the future of national reconciliation," AHY said in his statement, Monday, April 22.
The son of the 6th president of the Republic of Indonesia asked all Indonesian people to respect whatever the Constitutional Court's decision. With the Constitutional Court's decision later, AHY reminded all levels of society that the election was over and Indonesia's new leader had been determined.
"Let us respect the decision that will be decided by the Panel of Judges of the Constitutional Court (MK)," said AHY.

AHY assessed that the dispute trial decided by the Constitutional Court was not only a matter of politics. But also the interests of the nation's future.
"This is not only a political problem but also how this Indonesian country is even better and the better will continue in the next 5 years and so on, so that welfare will really get better for the community," explained AHY.
