JCI Opens To Strengthen To 7,099.52, Following Asian Stock Exchange

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) at the opening of trading Monday, April 22, 2024 strengthened 16.22 points or 0.23 percent to 7,103.53 at 09.01 WIB.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at the level of 7,099.52 while the highest level of the JCI today is at the level of 7,113 and the lowest is at 7,094.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX reached 6.11 million, with a transaction value of Rp606 billion.

There are 229 stocks up, 189 shares down, and 357 stocks flat. LQ45 index rose 0.43 percent, IDX 30 rose 0.43 percent and JII rose 0.92 percent.

Meanwhile, the IDXBASIC sector rose the highest by 1.01 percent. Only the IDXFINANCE sector experienced a decline of up to 0.04 percent.

From foreign stock markets, Japan's Nikkei 225 Index rose 0.65 percent, Hang Seng Index rose 0.99 percent, China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.15 percent, and Singapore's Straits Times rose 0.51 percent.

As for those who entered the ranks of Top Gainers, namely PYFA rose Rp42 or 34.43 percent to Rp164, TALF shares rose Rp88 or 24.86 percent to Rp442, and POLU shares rose Rp62 or 16.4 percent to Rp440.

Meanwhile, those who entered the top-loss ranks, were TRST shares fell by Rp110 or 23.31 percent to Rp363, PEGE shares fell by Rp14 or 13.21 percent to Rp92, and LPPF shares fell by Rp220 or 12.32 percent to Rp1,565.
