Max Sopacua: All Democrats Own, Not Family Owned
JAKARTA - The initiator of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) of the Democrat Party, Max Sopacua, commented on the dismissal of seven Democratic cadres by Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
Max Sopacua said that the accusation that the KLB was initiated by a cadre who had been dismissed was a false statement. Because he said, the dismissal process was not that easy.
"I explained that the dismissal process was a long process. For example Fahri Hamzah, he was fired as a member of the PKS when he was still the deputy chairman of the DPR. Friday, March 5.
According to him, the Democrat Party belongs to all and does not belong to the family. So that easily dismiss the founders and cadres.
"Indeed, the ancestors of this country carried out the dismissals. Who made this Democrat party, yes, we are not all the ones who made to fire people like that," said Max.
As for the KLB in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, the Democratic Party officially appointed President Moeldoko's Chief of Staff as the general chairman replacing Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY).
Moledoko, who was not present at the KLB, was immediately contacted by the KLB participants to inform him that he was trusted to be the general chairman. Moeldoko stated that he was ready to accept this trust.
