The Constitutional Court Reads The Decision Of The Presidential Election Dispute This Morning, TKN Relaxes: We Are Optimistic That The Applications For Kubu 01 And 03 Are Rejected

JAKARTA - The Constitutional Court (MK) will hold a session with an agenda for reading the verdict for the 2024 Presidential Election Result Dispute (PHPU) case on Monday, April 22, this morning.

Deputy Chairman of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Habiburokhman said that TKN was relaxed waiting for the Constitutional Court's decision. He believes that the Constitutional Court judges are immune from all intimidation and reject the petition from the Paslon 01 and 03 camps.

"We are casually waiting for the announcement. We are sure that the Constitutional Court judge will behave as a statesman who is immune from pressure and intimidation," said Habiburokhman, Monday, April 22.

"If we refer to the facts of the trial, God willing, we are optimistic that the candidate pairs 1 and 3 applications will be rejected," he continued.

Habiburokhman emphasized that accusations of quantitative violations and qualitative fraud directed at candidate pair number 2 had been broken in court facts.

The deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR hopes that the Constitutional Court judge will protect the voices of the people who exercise their voting rights on February 14.

"We pray that the judges of the Constitutional Court are loyal to the path of the constitution and democracy. The voice of the people who have made the choice must be together, we take care of it," he concluded.

Reporting from the schedule listed on the official website of the Constitutional Court in Jakarta, Monday, April 22, the trial will be held at 09.00 WIB in the second floor courtroom of the Indonesian Constitutional Court Building, Jakarta.

Head of the Bureau of Law and Administrative Affairs as well as Spokesperson for the Constitutional Court Fajar Laksono said Constitutional Justices would read out the verdict for the lawsuit filed by Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD simultaneously on the same day.

"The reading of the verdict will be held in the same assembly," said Fajar, Sunday, April 21.

He said the parties involved in this case would get a quota of 14 seats in the courtroom. This number includes quotas for the principals who will attend.
