238 Police Personnel Guard The U-23 Vs Persikabo National Team Match

JAKARTA - Hundreds of police personnel will be deployed to secure the trial match between the U-23 National Team (Timnas) and PS Tira Persikabo. The trial match was held at the Madya Stadium, Senayan, Jakarta.

"Security readiness of Central Jakarta Police and Polda Metro Jaya 238 personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Friday, March 5.

Likewise, the same amount of security will be deployed during the U-23 national team trial match with Bali United, on March 7.

In addition to security, said Yusri, the police would also monitor the series of activities in the U-23 national team trial match with Persikabo at 19.00 WIB. This is because one of the conditions for the issuance of a permit is by implementing a health protocol.

Of course, this requirement was given to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is because the number of additional positive cases is still quite high.

"The maximum number of official players and equipment is only 227 people, including related officials, the media and security who are greeted because they still have to comply with health protocols," he said.

For information, the trial match between the U-23 national team and several football clubs was held in preparation for the 2021 SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
