JAKARTA - The Indonesian U-18 women's basketball national team is ready to show off at the U-18 Southeast Asian Basketball Association (SEABA). Young athletes will undergo a training camp in Bali on April 29. From Antara's observation on the PB Perbasi social media page on Saturday, April 20, the players are still given time to undergo the Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah holiday to gather with their families. After starting to follow TC again, the players will focus on training again until departure to take part in the U18 SEABA in Thailand on May 24-26. SEABA U18 is a qualifying round to participate in the FIBA U-18 Women's Asia Cup 2024 Division A in Senzhen, China on June 24-30. A total of 18 players from a number of regions in Indonesia began participating in the TC in Bali after passing the selection on March 22-24. The selection, which was attended by 54 players, was the result of monitoring in various championships, as well as recommendations from various provincial administrators (prov) of the Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) throughout Indonesia.

The U-18 Women's Basketball National Team manager Dedy Setiawan on Monday (1/4), said during the selection the coaches appreciated players who had almost even individual skills or skills. So that it must be maximized through joint training for a long time, in order to finalize the appearance as a team.
He also reminded that 18 names that had followed TC from the start were not yet fully safe. This is because the training camp enforces a promotional and degradation system. Undeveloped players will have the opportunity to be eliminated if better players are found. He added that the selection was still open to players who were invited to attend because they were still focused on their education abroad. The players are Jasmine Prajitno and Justine Parjitno from West Java. Then, Maxine Maria Sutisna and Evangeline Clarissa Djohan from DKI Jakarta. Furthermore, there are Callista Gabrielle Purwadi and Felicity Mikayla Purwadi from Banten.
