Bareskrim Arrests 2 Employees Of Methamphetamine And Ecstasy Smuggler Airlines, Releases Drugs To Aircraft Cabins
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police arrested two airline employees for being involved in drug trafficking. Both played a role in passing ecstasy and methamphetamine from examination to the aircraft cabin.
"Yes, it is true that we have arrested 2 private airline employees," said the Director of Narcotics Crime at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa when confirmed, Wednesday, April 17.
Not only that, but a courier was also arrested in the disclosure of the drug trafficking case. However, it was not conveyed about their identity.
The police have also not disclosed the number of narcotics the suspects are trying to smuggle. The reason is that the inspection and development process is still being carried out.
"We arrested him when he arrived at Soekarno-Hatta Airport," he said.
However, Mukti emphasized that the results of the disclosure will be delivered in the near future.
"For completion tomorrow Thursday, we will release it directly at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police," said Mukti.
