Tim Cook Arrives In Indonesia Early Than Schedule, Appears At Traditional Nunanese Restaurants

JAKARTA - Apple CEO, Tim Cook, surprisingly arrived in Indonesia earlier than the anticipated schedule. Initially, it was hoped that he would visit Indonesia on the weekend, but at 20.00 WIB on Tuesday, April 16, Cook had uploaded a photo showing he had arrived and was in a traditional restaurant in Indonesia.

Cook's early arrival from schedule created joy and surprises among fans and followers on social media. The photo he uploaded showed a warm and familiar impression while enjoying a chicken satay with Sofyan Pratama, a well-known Indonesian iPhone photographer.

Hello Indonesia, how are you? Sate Ayam with iPhone photographer Sofyan Pratama was a perfect way to start my time in Jakarta! Looking forward to meeting even more of Indonesia's creative community and developers while I'm here! pic.twitter.com/jh8NCHctJ

"Hello Indonesia, what's the news? Sate Ayam with photographer iPhone Sofyan Pratama is the perfect way to start my time in Jakarta! I look forward to meeting more Indonesian communities and creative developers while I'm here!," wrote Tim Cook on his X account.

With this faster arrival, it is hoped that Cook will have more time to meet with various parties and communities in Indonesia, as well as strengthen relations between Apple and the technology and creative ecosystems in this country.

Of course, Cook's presence at a traditional restaurant also gave a message that he was not only interested in the aspect of technology, but also local culture. This is certainly an added value in the relationship between Apple and Indonesia, showing that the company respects and respects the cultural diversity of the countries they operate in.

Previously, the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi confirmed that Apple's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tim Cook, would visit Indonesia on Thursday 17 April 2024. During his visit tomorrow, Cook is scheduled to meet with President Joko Widodo or Jokowi.

"Yes, tomorrow, he will come later on the 17th (April)," said Budi Arie, Tuesday (16/4/2024) quoted from Antara. "It will be announced, will make investments. What is certain is that all large companies from the United States and all countries in the world will have a significant investment in Indonesia. Later, wait, tomorrow there will be a surprise."
