For Those Who Are Still Homecoming, Make Sure Fuel Is Sufficient During Eid Backflow
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk stated that the public should ensure the readiness of long-distance travel, this is because there are still many vehicles running out of fuel oil (BBM) on the return flow of Lebaran 2024.
"In this backflow period, we recorded a number of requests for assistance through Jasa Marga's One Call Center at 14080 due to running out of fuel, as a result the vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the road, some even stopped at the contraflow lane," said Jasa Marga Marketing & Communication Department Head Faiza Riani in an official statement, Tuesday, April 16.
Jasa Marga again urges road users to ensure the adequacy of fuel periodically. Especially every time it stops in the rest area, it is to immediately fill up the fuel as needed.
"Jasa Marga through its subsidiary in the prospective sector, PT Jasamarga Related Business (JMRB), is also working with Pertamina to provide motorist fuel on standby at Jasa Marga's Rest Area Travoy," he explained.
Faiza explained that this service is a fuel delivery service for road users who run out of fuel around the rest area using a motorbike. However, the motorized fuel fleet is limited, so road users still have to anticipate long-distance trips by ensuring sufficient fuel.

"We also urge road users to actively seek information about Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) on arterial roads close to to toll road exit access as an alternative if the rest area on toll roads is opened and closed because it is full," said Faiza.
Jasa Marga also appealed to the public to ensure travel readiness, including ensuring that the condition of the driver and vehicle is in prime condition and roadworthy, preparing supplies and electronic money balances.
'Obey signs and directions from officers in the field and always be disciplined in the provisions of driving on toll roads. Use time wisely by not lingering in the rest area so that you can alternate with other road users," he said.
