Mutia Ayu Proud Glenn Fredly The Movie Delivers Peace Message From Ambon
JAKARTA - The drama film Glenn Fredly The Movie will air in all Indonesian cinemas on April 25. The film, which tells the life story of popular Indonesian singer Glenn Fredly, wants to convey peace messages with the background of the Ambon 1999 conflict.
Glenn Fredly's father, Mutia Ayu, admitted that he was happy and proud that her husband was made in a film. "For me personally, I am proud and happy, of course, thanks to this film Gewa can know her father through this film," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, April 16.
He hopes, through this film, viewers can learn that family as everything, respect time, and loved ones.
"The hope is that this film can be liked by many people, the most important thing is that the message is to get from this film. And we hope that all of these films can reach millions of viewers," he said.
The film presents from Time International Films and Adhya Pictures produced by DAMN! I Love Indonesia Pictures, brought the audience to dive into Glenn Fredly's life journey, including from the struggle period in the music world to the touching love story.
The film's sound track brings back Glenn Fredly's timeless hits. The film also features Glenn Fredly's new song that has never been released, titled Family sung by Yura Yunita, the winner of the 2023 FFI Citra Cup for the best theme songwriter.
Di film ini juga memperkenalkan Eldhy Victor, penyanyi yang akan turut mengisi suara di dalam film. Eldhy penyanyi yang dikenal lewat karya kavernya dengan karakter vokal mirip dengan Glenn Fredly.
Glenn Fredly The Movie stars FFI 2022 Citra Cup winners Marthino Lio, Bucek, Ruth Sahanaya, Zulfa Maharani, Alyssa Abidin, Sonia Alyssa, Sahira Anjani, and Winky Wiryawan.
Film producer Daniel Mananta hopes that this film inspires many people to continue to work and spread kindness and be well received by the community.
