Iran-Israel Memanas Conflict, Sri Mulyani Holds Economic Impact Meeting In Indonesia
JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani held a joint meeting with the ranks of the Ministry of Finance on Sunday evening, April 14, 2024 in order to discuss the impact of the war between Iran and Israel to Indonesia.
In his Instagram account post @smindrawati, Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara and related Eslon officials at the Ministry of Finance were also present.
"Sunday night, the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Finance (Suahasil Nazara) and the echelons was related," he wrote in his post, Sunday, April 14.
Sri Mulyani said that the development of the global economic and financial situation and the very high geopolitical tension is currently moving fast and dynamic.
"This condition affects various economic indicators that need to be anticipated and watched out for," he said.
However, Sri Mulyani said the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) would continue to be an important instrument in dealing with global and national turmoil and dynamics.
In addition, Sri Mulyani also discussed the preparations for the G20 meeting which is planned to be held next week and the Spring Meeting of the IMF-World Bank.
