Regarding State Sovereignty, Unand Experts Against Iran's Attack On Iseal Is Reasonable
PADANG- An expert on international relations from Andalas University (Unand) West Sumatra Virtuous Setyaka said Iran's attack on Israel was related to state sovereignty.
"When Iran did a reply, as a sovereign country, it was only natural," said Virtuous Setyaka in Padang, Monday.
The attacks of dozens of ballistic missiles and hundreds of Iranian-launched drones, said Viirturus, were a direct response to Israel's actions that first attacked the Iranian Embassy in Damascus some time ago.
"Israel attacks the Iranian Embassy, and it can be seen as harassment or an insult to the sovereignty of a country," he explained.
According to the academicus of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Sciences Unand, the tensions that occurred in the Middle East could not be separated from the conflict that occurred in Palestine.
Therefore, if the conflict between Hamas and Israel's Zionists is not stopped immediately, it is likely to cause a much larger escalation of the conflict.
"So, if it is not stopped immediately, the escalation will expand at the level of the Middle East region," he said.
In fact, even worse, the conflict could drag or cause countries outside the Middle East to get directly involved in the war.
